Dr. Solomiya Grushchak is a Ukrainian-born, Chicago-native dermatologist whose career reflects both exceptional training and a deep dedication to patient care. As a Fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon and Board-Certified Dermatologist, she combines advanced surgical skill with an artistic eye to deliver care that is precise, restorative, and deeply personal. Education & Training
Dr. Grushchak began her academic journey at Loyola University Chicago, where she graduated from the Honors Program and earned early acceptance into medical school through the prestigious Early Assurance Program. She went on to complete her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
Following her internship at Scripps Hospital in San Diego, she pursued dermatology residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County, serving as Chief Resident. To further expand her expertise, she completed advanced fellowship training at the University of California–Irvine, specializing in:
- Cutaneous Oncology
- Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Reconstruction
- Aesthetic Medicine
- Laser Surgery

Outside of her practice, Dr. Grushchak embraces an active and adventurous lifestyle. She enjoys running, surfing, skiing, and attending live music concerts. Family and friends remain central to her life, grounding her passion for balance and connection. Multilingual by nature, she is fluent in Ukrainian, conversant in Polish and Russian, and is currently expanding her skills by learning Spanish.
